Nourishing Change: The Role of Culinary Medicine in Nutrition and Health Coaching

Featuring Olivia Thomas, Chief Innovative Officer of Rewire Health & Laura Klein, owner of Well Seasoned Coaching and faculty for the Clinicians CHEF Coaching program at the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, Harvard Medical School

Food is medicine! Healthy eating is critical for longevity, wellness, and managing chronic illness. Unfortunately, the process of purchasing, preparing, and consuming the healthiest foods can prove challenging for many.

That’s where culinary medicine and health coaching can help bridge the gap.

Culinary medicine aims to translate nutrition recommendations into feasible, repeatable food skills and behaviors through hands-on and experiential learning. Health coaches can offer support around nutrition as well as collaboration with dietitians, nutritionists, and other practitioners to help clients navigate it all.

FMCA is pleased to welcome Olivia Thomas, dietitian and Chief Innovation Officer of Rewire Health, and Laura Klein, owner of Well Seasoned Coaching and faculty for the Clinicians CHEF Coaching program at the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, Harvard Medical School, who will be sharing how culinary medicine can be integrated with health coaching and practitioner collaboration for better nutritional outcomes.

FMCA Founder and CEO, Dr. Sandra Scheinbaum, will be hosting this webinar providing unique insights into how health coaches specifically can work with culinary medicine.
